River Pools Fiberglass C Series Review

Researching inground swimming pools can be like trying to find something to watch on Netflix. There’s a multitude of unique options, but how do you really know what will be the best investment of time, or in the case of a pool, what will be the best investment of money?

At Royal Pools and G2 Landscaping, we love helping prospects pick out their dream pool. Everyone has their own wants and desires, and there is almost always a pool for someone. Going with a fiberglass pool in particular will be the quickest way to transform your backyard into your own personal outdoor oasis. So, with that being said, this article will be the first in a new series focusing on, you guessed it, fiberglass pool reviews.

River Pools has established itself as a reputable brand in the realm of fiberglass pool manufacturing since 2001, offering a range of options to suit various tastes and needs. The C Series, one of their smaller product lines, gives you the durability, functionality, and aesthetic beauty common with all fiberglass pools. In this unbiased review, we’ll delve into the key aspects of the two C Series pools to provide prospective buyers like you with the information needed to determine if this pool is the right one for you.

River Pools C35 Inground Swimming Pool

River Pools C40 Swimming Pool

Available Sizes in the C Series

The River Pools C Series is available in two different sizes:

  • 16’ x 35’
    • Holds 14,500 gallons of water.
    • Depth of 3’8” – 6’
  • 16’ x 40’
    • Holds 17,000 gallons of water.
    • Depth of 3’8” – 6’4”

Features of C Series

The C Series offers two freeform curvy pools. In terms of pool features the two pools are the exact same, the only real difference comes down to size and swim space.

As you can see in the picture, some of the features of the C Series include:

  • Spacious swimming area
  • Tanning ledge
  • Deep end
  • Easy entry steps
  • Deep end bench
  • Non-slip pool floor

C Series pools come equipped with a range of functional features aimed at enhancing the swimming experience. While these features add value and versatility to the pool, some users may find the customization options somewhat limited compared to other pool types. However, the non-porous surface of fiberglass makes cleaning and maintenance relatively simple and easy when compared to concrete and vinyl liner pools, reducing the time and effort required to keep the pool in pristine condition. This is the perfect segway to the pros and cons of the C Series.

Pros of C Series:

  • Wide-open swim space
  • Multiple points of entry
  • Automatic cover compatible
  • Ease of maintenance
  • Multiple color options

Cons of C Series:

  • Not customizable (as is the case with fiberglass pools)
  • Only available in two sizes

In conclusion, the River Pools fiberglass C Series offers a compelling blend of durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. We would give this pool an A- grade. It’s a great pool! While they may not offer the same level of customization as some other pool types, they provide a reliable and low-maintenance option with ample swimming space for homeowners seeking to transform their backyard. With proper installation and maintenance, a C series pool will provide years of enjoyment for your family.
