What Warranty Do We Offer on Pools?

One of the hardest parts about getting any project done is finding the right people to help you get it done. In the case of an inground swimming pool, finding the best pool installation company can be like trying to find a crushed plastic water bottle at the bottom of a pool (trust me, I’ve tried).

Here in Northwest Indiana and the greater Chicagoland region, your options for inground pool installers are in abundance. We know how difficult it can be to stand out and differentiate yourself from other similar companies.

At Royal Pools G2 Landscaping we believe in the power of letting our work speak for itself. Our labor and workmanship warranty allows us to do this.

Types of Warranties

When purchasing an inground pool, you will find that, depending on the type of pool you go with, you may end up having as many as four warranties. Including:

  • Manufacturer’s warranty
    • In the case of fiberglass pools, they typically come with two manufacturer’s warranties, one covering the structural integrity and another one covering the gelcoat surface.
  • Installers workmanship warranty
    • Installer’s warranty covering the installation company’s labor and workmanship.
  • Equipment warranty
    • Warranties covering vital pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, salt chlorine generators, UV/ozone towers, lights, automation systems, etc.

These warranties are put in place not just to protect your pool, but to protect the manufacturer as well as the company that installed your pool.

At Royal Pools G2 Landscaping, we install fiberglass and vinyl liner pools. Although we do not install concrete pools, it is worth noting that if you’re considering a concrete pool, know that they do not come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Seeing as how they are built completely in your backyard, these pools only come with an equipment warranty and a workmanship warranty provided by your installer.

💂The Royal Guard💂

The state of Indiana requires a minimum two-year labor and workmanship warranty on all construction projects, including inground pools. If your pool installer offers a labor warranty that lasts longer than 2 years, odds are that installer can build a solid, durable, and long lasting pool. Hopefully, at least!

At Royal Pools G2 Landscaping, we carry a three-year labor and workmanship warranty that we call the Royal Guard. This warranty is derived from practices and procedures we have implemented into our pool installation process over the years. The Royal Guard protects our work and guarantees you a properly plumbed pool that was installed to be hydraulically efficient, and most importantly, durable.

Conclusion

Getting a pool installed in your backyard is a huge project and a major investment. For the money you’re paying, you deserve peace of mind that the pool was installed the right way. Remember, the purpose of a workmanship/labor warranty is to ensure that your pool was installed correctly and does not fail.
