RPG2 Takes 3rd Place in Crown Point Christmas on the Square Tree Contest

On behalf of the Royal Pools G2 Landscaping team, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the town of Crown Point for recognizing our Christmas tree this year!

Every year, the Lake Courthouse Foundation hosts a Christmas tree contest in the historic Crown Point downtown square. In 2025, Royal Pools G2 Landscaping entered a Christmas tree for the very first time. Well, the votes are in, and we placed third!

What is the Christmas on the Square Contest?

“Christmas on the Square” is an annual Christmas tree contest held in Crown Point Square outside the courthouse. All companies across the Northwest Indiana region are encouraged to participate. Entering and decorating a tree helps get your company’s name in the public eye while promoting the holiday spirit. 

The three trees with the most votes are then chosen and honored by Crown Point Mayor Peter D. Land at the monthly city council meeting. To our surprise, we were lucky enough to be one of the chosen three honorees this year!

At Royal Pools G2 Landscaping, we believe in the power of community engagement. The Christmas on the Square tree contest has been held for years; this is only our first year participating. To say that finding out we placed in the top three was a pleasant surprise would be an understatement.

We would like to recognize the top two prize winners and extend a sincere congratulations to them:
